Using a personal proxy to enhance browsing
GlimmerBlocker is a scriptable HTTP proxy for OS X. Its intended use is ad blocking, but Shaun Inman decided it could be used like GreaseMonkey to add utility to certain kinds of pages on-the-fly. Because it’s a proxy, a single configuration works across all browsers on your system, not just Safari.
Pretty clever.
